Master of Science (MS) in Health Security

Tulane’s 45-credit online or on-campus MS in Health Security is one of the only graduate programs explicitly focused on health security, addressing a critical workforce gap in public health emergency preparedness, risk management, and crisis communication. Through a curriculum grounded in scientific principles and real-world application, you’ll develop the skills to be a leader in crisis response, public health preparedness, and emergency management. Upon graduation, you’ll be equipped to contribute to healthcare systems, NGOs, private sector risk management, and government agencies, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA), Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
