Our current system faces too many disparities that rob communities of this opportunity, with many people lacking access to quality care. We need healthcare administrators who can create a more accessible and effective healthcare system that works for everyone.
Whether you attend class online or on campus, the Master of Health Administration (MHA) at the Tulane University Celia Scott Weatherhead School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine will teach you the tactics you need to lead equitable transformations in health care, improve community health, and turn analysis into action.

What You’ll Learn
The Master of Health Administration (MHA) program prepares students with a foundation in healthcare leadership and applied analytical skills to promote data-driven decision-making. You’ll learn to:
- Influence and guide others in healthcare settings, preparing you to take on leadership roles within the industry
- Develop and implement long-term strategies that account for the complex interplay of business, cultural, political, and regulatory factors in healthcare

Online MHA Cost
Earning your MHA degree is an investment. Not just in yourself, but in the healthcare systems you'll help improve.
Tuition*: $1,841 per credit hour (48 credits total)
Academic Support Fee: $100 per credit hour
Student Activity Fee: $160 per semester for full-time students; $106 per semester for part-time students
Technology Fee: $100 flat for on-ground students; $175 flat for online students
Administrative Residency: $200
Within a year of graduation, 99.7 percent of our Tulane public health graduates find jobs in the field or continue their education.

The School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine has been accredited since 1947, and all current programs are accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH).
The Tulane MHA program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Healthcare Management Education (CAHME), demonstrating the program’s commitment to the highest standards in healthcare education.
