SCHOOL OVERVIEW
In 1912, Tulane University launched the first public health school in the United States. Since then, Tulane has established a rich legacy as a leader in public health, as evidenced by the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine’s No. 13 ranking among public health schools in the U.S. Today, students across the country can access our innovative curricula and acclaimed thought leadership through our extensive suite of specialized programs, offered both online and on campus.

We’re tremendously excited to be taking our highly ranked classroom experience and making it available online for working professionals who may not be able to participate in a traditional, on-ground program. Tulane University was originally launched in 1834 in response to public health threats in New Orleans.
